D.C. United M Arguez named to Under-20 national team

(AP) -  D.C. United midfielder Bryan Arguez on Monday was named to the United States Under-20 national team.

Arguez, 18, will join a 16-man roster coached by Thomas Rongen. The squad will play this summer in the FIFA U-20 World Cup, which starts June 30 in Canada.

The 11th overall selection in this year's SuperDraft, Arguez also played on the U.S. team which won Group A in the CONCACAF U-20 qualifying tournament this past January. The 6-2 midfielder has not appeared in a game this season for United.
